First Assembly Christian Academy was established in 1984 as God birthed a vision in the heart of Pastor Scruggs to see students in Gaston County not only enlightened with academic knowledge, but a knowledge of God as well!  

We sincerely believe the Scripture when it says, "Train up a child in the way he should go,” and the promise follows, “When he is old he will not depart from it.”  This training involves the spiritual, academic, physical, and social realms of each child.
